1.1.5 "Buyer": an individual or entity purchasing goods via the platform.
1.1.6 "Products": the second-hand winter sports equipment offered for sale on the platform, including but not limited to skis, snowboards, clothing, accessories, and other related items.

2. Access to the Platform

2.1 To use our platform, you must be at least 18 years of age or have consent from a parent or legal guardian.
2.2 You are responsible for providing truthful and up-to-date information during registration and for maintaining the confidentiality of your account details.

3. Account and Registration

3.1 To buy or sell on Used-Skigear.com, you must create an account.
3.2 You agree to provide accurate and complete information during the registration process.
3.3 You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. It is prohibited to share your account with others without our prior consent.
3.4 If you notice that your account has been compromised, you must immediately notify us.

4. Liability and Transactions

4.1 We do not have possession of the products listed and are not involved in the actual transaction between buyers and sellers. Therefore, we are not responsible for contracts for the sale and purchase of products made through the website. Such contracts are between the seller and the buyer.
4.2 Any contract between the seller and the buyer is subject to the terms and conditions implied by law or agreed upon by the seller and buyer. We are not a party to the contract between the seller and buyer and are not liable under that contract in any way.
4.3 While we may provide guidance on pricing, shipping, listings, and other aspects within our services, such guidance is purely informational, and it is up to you to decide whether or not to follow it.
4.4 We do not review the content provided by the seller or the buyer. This means we are not responsible for any content provided by the seller or buyer, such as product descriptions, images, reviews, etc.
4.5 We are not responsible for the delivery of any product. If a product is collected in person by the buyer, we are not responsible for anything that happens to the seller, buyer, or anyone accompanying them during the meeting for collection. We recommend that you meet in a public place for your safety.
4.6 We are not responsible for product returns. Used-Skigear.com does not mediate returns, complaints, or disputes between the seller and the buyer. It is the responsibility of the seller and buyer to agree on whether a return or solution is possible and under what terms.
4.7 We do not provide any warranties or assurances regarding the products you purchase (or attempt to purchase) from sellers through the website. This disclaimer does not affect your statutory rights against the seller. If you need information about your legal rights, we recommend contacting your local consumer advice or seeking legal counsel.
4.8 We have no control over and cannot guarantee the existence, quality, safety, or legality of products, or the accuracy of information provided by sellers or buyers on or through the website, including listings or feedback. We cannot guarantee that a seller will complete a transaction or that a buyer will pay for products.
4.9 We cannot verify the identity of registered users. This means that some registered users may not be who they say they are.

5. Payments and Transactions

5.1 All payments for products on our platform must be made through Stripe, a secure and reliable payment processor. You may pay via available payment methods supported by Stripe, such as credit card, iDEAL, and other approved payment methods.
5.2 We reserve the right to monitor payments and transactions and to investigate fraudulent activities. Suspicious transactions may be blocked or canceled.
5.3 All payments between buyers and sellers will be processed through the platform. We strongly encourage you to avoid making payments outside of the platform.

6. Return Policy and Right of Withdrawal

6.1 Returns are not possible. Since the platform is used for the sale of second-hand winter sports equipment, Used-Skigear.com does not accept returns for products, even if the product is not as expected.
6.2 Any disputes regarding products (such as damage, incorrect items, or dissatisfaction) must be resolved directly between the seller and the buyer. Used-Skigear.com is not involved in these cases and is not responsible for providing a solution or resolving any complaints.

7. Restrictions on Use

7.1 It is prohibited to use the platform for:
7.1.1 Illegal activities, such as offering stolen or counterfeit goods.
7.1.2 Providing false or misleading information regarding products.
7.1.3 Violating the intellectual property rights of third parties.
7.1.4 Distributing malware, viruses, or other harmful software.
7.1.5 Disrupting the operation of the platform or interfering with other users.

8. Intellectual Property
